Port centric employment opportunities

Peel Ports bought the former Bridgewater paper mill site in 2010 after the newsprint paper business went into administration. The location adjacent to the Manchester Ship Canal is highly suitable for a wide range of port-related uses including manufacturing, processing, energy generation, distribution or open storage. The site provides a development opportunity for an industrial and warehouse space totalling up to 1 million sq ft.

The site also retains a Combined Heat and Power Plant which used to serve the paper mill.
